What Is Modern Boudoir?
Modern boudoir is lingerie-led photography with a clean, elegant feel. Instead of the elaborate themed sets and characters of our Signature DOLLHOUSE shoots, the focus is on you: exquisite lingerie and styling, beautiful hair and makeup, flattering light and luxurious settings like velvet chaises, satin beds and gilded mirrors. Lots of our favourite modern boudoir images are lying down or reclining, which clients love.
Why It Costs Less
Modern boudoir shoots need fewer set changes and costume builds, so they take less studio time. That is the only difference. You're photographed by the same small, warm team of women, with the same care, the same posing guidance and the same world-class retouching as every other DOLLHOUSE shoot.
Your Modern Boudoir Day
You'll be welcomed with a drink (soft or not!) while we settle you in and plan your looks together. Full professional hair and makeup follows, then we style you from our £300,000 lingerie and wardrobe collection in sizes XS to 5XL, or in pieces you bring yourself. We guide every pose, so no modelling experience is needed, and we'll cover what you want to cover and show what you want to show.
Booking Your Shoot
Our boutique studio is in a beautiful, quiet and characterful part of Birmingham, with free secure parking, and most clients travel to us from across the UK.
